Great ambience, went with Mom & Husband a couple of weeks ago when Mom was visiting from England.
Lovely meal had by all of us! Will definitely be back. Has a nice little boutique like shop attached, got some gift items too.
Will be back. -

With our first time being in Florida, we were looking for a restaurant that was semi classy, yet casual enough that you didn't have to dress up so much. We also wanted a place with good food and a view. Well we were pleasantly surprised to find this amazing restaurant right off the beach. The restaurant was so beautiful, with it's nostalgic decor, seating where you have a wonderful view of the beach and ocean. The wait staff that was just impeccable, especially our waitress, Elizabeth, and the food???? Well, I guarantee you will definitely enjoy it.
Here is what we had:
Fresh new England calamari: Tempura fried served over mixed greens and topped with a firecracker drizzle - this is one of the best styles of calamari I have had yet. The calamari was fried perfectly and that firecracker drizzle, it was send a pop in your mouth. With the fresh greens on the bottom it was perfect
Blushing New England clam chowder: mix of blue crab soup and new england clam chowder - this was very very good. The flavors meshed together so well and had a unique and pleasant taste
Fresh diver scallops: seared over lobster cream sauce and topped with sweet potato hay - the scallops practically melted in my mouth and although it served only 4, they were very big. I have never tasted scallops this fresh before
Dry aged New York strip steak side of lobster tail - as with the scallops, the lobster was cooked with perfection, needing no sauce to accommodate the taste which was amazing in itself. The steak, cooked exactly as we wanted and served with bearnaise sauce and au jus....just delectable
Southern pecan rice - a nice twist to accompany the meal
Baked sweet potato - served with cinnamon and brown sugar - perfect match for the steak and lobster
House salad with homemade creamy dill dressing - this was amazing....their homemade creamy dill was divine
Coconut cream cheesecake:. Can I say, YUM! Not to sweet but rich and a perfect end to our dinner.
Overall, I will definitely go back if in Florida again and I recommend it to all. -

Went here for our Anniversary last week. It was a good as usual. I had the prime rib and it was yummy and my husband had the 6 oz. filet. He enjoyed that a lot.
Not crazy about the clam chowder but I am from New England and I do not really expect it to be good in Florida. I honestly do not think they even tried. Lol
Ordered the cheesy potatoes and they were way too spicy for me.
Had a little problem with the waitress. Told her I want a very tall Sombrero and she came back with a glass not too much bigger than a juice glass. She was very snippy with me .
Only thing I really feel about the place is that they really need to update their interior . It has been the same way for many years and they have Knick knacks all over the walls . Seriously every time I have gone there all I can think about is how dusty it must be and that does not make me want to eat there again. Please take the Knick knacks down , paint the walls and let me know then I will be back . Sorry! -

Faith says to order the Strawberry Chamtorte for dessert. Best seafood and best view in town!! If you visit Vero Beach you must eat here because when you get up north everyone will ask you about it.
All the food is wonderful and the location is the best anywhere. -

Awesome location.
Awesome and unique decor.
Service was just ok.
Plenty of parking!
Cool gift shop.
The hostesses were really nice. And I loved hearing about the history of this place.
My sandwich was just ok.
I think this place could be better.
I would go back for a drink and maybe try it again but not super enthusiastically
